Plumettaz America Corp. Spiderflex and Sarlex Ropes
Two quality dielectric rope products are available from Plumettaz America Corp. for replacement of the "old-style" polyester hollow braid ropes typically used on truck mounted power reels. Both products have excellent elongation and wear properties.
Spiderflex Rope
Spiderflex rope is a 12-strand single braid rope constructed of high tenacity polyester wrapped in polyolefin yarns. This rope produces a firm line with good strength-to-weight ratio. Torque-free, Spiderflex rope does not rotate under load, splices easily, stays flexible, has good handling properties, and does not kink or hockle. Available in either ORANGE or RED colors on 2,000 ft. reels.
Sarlex Rope
Sarlex Pulling Rope is a 12-strand single braid rope always finished with a coat of polyurethane to optimize the rope's life due to abrasion resistance. Sarlex is also extremely easy to splice. The approximate elastic elongation of Sarlex is 3.7% at the recommended working load. Available in either ORANGE or RED colors on 500 ft. reels.
